Professional boundaries and attorney supervision
Lawyers Buddy provides support services; it does not replace the judgment, duties or professional responsibilities of the client firm's licensed attorneys. Legal strategy, legal advice to the firm's clients, court appearances, jurisdiction-specific decisions and final approval remain with appropriately licensed counsel. Work is carried out under the firm's instructions and supervision where required.
Confidentiality and information handling
Before confidential or sensitive information is shared, the parties should agree on appropriate access, transfer methods, permitted use, retention and return or deletion requirements. Clients should use approved channels and avoid sending privileged case materials through a general enquiry form. Any security, privacy or contractual requirements specific to a matter should be discussed and documented before commencement.
Quality, communication and accountability
We aim to make each engagement easier to manage through written instructions, agreed turnaround expectations, status updates and review checkpoints. When a task is unclear or the available materials do not support completion as requested, the appropriate next step is to seek clarification rather than make unsupported assumptions. Feedback can be incorporated within the agreed scope and process.
Engagement options
Depending on the nature and volume of work, the parties may discuss hourly support, weekly custom support, monthly arrangements or a separately scoped project. Pricing, availability, turnaround times, revision expectations and service limits are confirmed in writing before work begins; a quote is not a commitment until accepted by both parties.
Who we work with
Our intended clients are U.S. attorneys and law firms seeking assistance with legal-support workflows and practice operations. Requirements differ by practice area and matter type, so we review each request individually and confirm whether it fits our available services before accepting it.
